The Corner, is a thriving business district neighboring the Grounds of the University of Virginia.  It has grown from a few small shops at the corner of Main Street near the UVA Gateway to a delightful, eight block area from Chancellor Street to 10th Street N.W. along University Avenue and West Main Street, including the side streets of Elliewood Avenue and Fourteenth Street N.W.

The Corner is the vibrant intersection of students, alums, locals, and area visitors.  As part of the UVA Historic District is it packed with a wide variety of restaurants, unique shopping alternatives and specialty businesses.  A great place for people watching as you dine at one of the sidewalk seating areas provided by many food establishments.

No trip to Charlottesville is complete without a visit to The Corner!
