The Charlottesville Department of Utilities provides energy conservation programs that complement the natural gas that you have come to depend on.  HECU Image

The City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County have partnered with LEAP to provide residents with a Home Energy Check-Up (HECU) for the reduced cost of $45, or free for qualifying participants. During the HECU, a LEAP Energy Coach performs a full energy audit of the home, complete with the direct installation of energy saving measures. The LEAP Energy Coach will select the most appropriate measures based on the need of the resident's home and potential energy efficiency improvement.
