Closed Facilities/Amenities

  • All Indoor Recreation Centers and Pools
  • All Playgrounds on Park or City School Property
  • All Outdoor Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts and Picnic Shelters
  • Downtown Administration Office
  • Park Restrooms
  • Meadocreek Golf Course
  • Charlottesville Skate Park
  • Parking Lots at the Following Park:  McIntire Park, Pen Park, Tonsler Park and Washington Park

 Open Facilities

  •  All Outdoor Parks and Trails (see list of park amenities closed above)

 Program/Event/Rental Cancellations

  •  All Recreation and Athletic Programs, Classes, Camps, Field Trips, Rentals and Special Events are cancelled through April 24

 City Market

  • The City Market on April 4 is cancelled.The City will reassess the April 11 market and future markets and make an announcement in early April. 

Dog Park Guidelines

  • Dog parks are still open, but are limited to only ten (10) people at a time in the fenced in area until further notice.

 Customers affected by the program/event cancellations will receive additional information from Parks & Recreation regarding refund options.
