Join the Charlottesville Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee on a bicycle ride showcasing the City’s recent bicycle improvements and learn about more to come! Must be comfortable riding on the road. Meet at the Downtown Transit Station at 5PM. Easy pace. No drop.
Bike to School Day - May 8, 2019
Join kids all over America and ride your bike to school today! Parents: join together with your neighbors and friends to form bike trains—adults in the front and back, and kids ride in the middle—a fun and healthy way to get to school!
Bike to Work Week - May 13-17, 2019
This is the week to give biking to work a try! Leave your car at home, hit the saddle, and burn calories – not carbon. Bike to Work Week brings the community together to celebrate bicycling as a fun and healthy way to get to work. Bike with family, friends or colleagues to the West Main Street energizer station on Friday May 17 from 7:30-9:30AM
Family Bike Day -May 19, 2019
The annual Family Bike Day is a free event that promotes bike safety, education, family bicycling and healthy lifestyle. Strider course, decoration station, and bike handling skills courses for riders of all ages from 10AM-1PM at the Ix Art Park. 522 2nd St SE Brought to you by Blue Wheel Bikes
