The Office of Communications is a division of the City Manager's Office and is responsible for city-wide communications, including press releases, the City's Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) access television stations, web content, social media, produced video, ad copy, major City events and more. The Communications staff includes the Director of Communications, Communications Coordinator, Communications Specialist, and CPA-TV Manager. The Director also serves as the City spokesperson.
To inform, educate and engage citizens, stakeholders and staff about City issues and initiatives through a variety of communication resources and to ensure a productive, mutually beneficial relationship between City departments and the community.
