City Offices Closed for July 4th

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City Offices will be closed Thursday, July 4 for the July 4th Holiday

Trash and recycling will not be collected on July 4 and will resume on the next working day. Trash collection will continue a day behind through the rest of the week, concluding Saturday Collection for the uptown/downtown route on 7/4 will be conducted at 7 a.m.. 

The Charlottesville Area Transit will operate at a Sunday Level Service (ONLY the Free Trolley, Route 2, Route 9, and Route 12)

City offices will reopen on Friday, July 5
