Charlottesville Area Transit Announces Detours For UVA Finals Weekend

The Free Trolley will be the only route affected with a detour, but all routes will experience significant delays at times

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- Charlottesville Area Transit will detour the Free Trolley route around Grounds beginning tomorrow and through Sunday for the University of Virginia's Finals Weekend. The Free Trolley will be the only route affected with a detour, but all routes will experience significant delays at times.

FREE Trolley will detour McCormick Rd. on:

• Friday, May 17, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Saturday, May 18 &  Sunday, May 19, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All CAT stops along Emmet St to W Main St will be serviced by the FREE Trolley during this detour.
