Overnight Sanitary Sewer Work on Water Street

Workers will be active in overnight hours starting tonight thru Jan. 28

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -Sanitary sewer work on West Water Street around the location of the old Main Street Arena will be conducted in the overnight hours beginning at midnight tonight. Work will continue during times when Charlottesville Area Transit is not running up until 6:30 a.m. Monday, January 28.

West Water Street will be closed in both directions between the Main St/Ridge St intersection and 2nd Street during the following construction periods:

• During January 23-26 (Wednesday-Saturday), work will occur between midnight and 6:30 a.m.

• During January 27 (Sunday), work will occur between midnight and 8 a.m. and from 7 p.m. until midnight.

• During January 28 (Monday), work will occur between midnight and 6:30 a.m.
