City Offices Closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day

CAT and Trash Services will be on normal operating schedule

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City offices will be closed on Monday, January 20 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Charlottesville Area Transportation (CAT) will provide normal service. All routes will run as usual. Details on the holiday schedule are online at

City trash and recycling services will be as normal, there will be no delays to collections.

City offices will reopen on Tuesday, January 21.
