City Offices Closed For The Christmas Holiday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City offices will be closed Tuesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 25 for the Christmas Holiday.

On Tuesday, December 24, Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) Service will end at 7 p.m. There will be no service on Wednesday, December 25.

Curbside trash and recycling will not be collected Wednesday, December 25. These services will resume on Thursday, December 26 and continue a day behind through the rest of the week, including Saturday. The Uptown/Downtown Rt. will be provided one collection Wednesday December 25 starting at 7am.

There will be no Large Item collection on the following days – Tuesday 12/24/2019, Wednesday 12/25/2019 and Wednesday 1/1/2020.

City offices will reopen Thursday, December 26.
