City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City offices will close Wednesday, November 27 at 1 p.m. and remain closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for Thanksgiving. On Thursday, Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will operate on a Sunday schedule. Service will return to normal on Friday. Curbside trash and recycling will not be collected Thursday, November 28. Service will resume Friday, November 29 on behind schedule and conclude on Saturday, November 30. The Uptown/Downtown Route will be provided one collection starting at 7am on Thursday, November 28. City offices will reopen Monday, December 2, 2019. |
