Annual Bill of Rights Lecture

John W. Whitehead will present Jefferson-Madison Regional Library's annual lecture on The Bill of Rights. He will present a 30-40 minute discussion on his thoughts of government efforts to weaken the Bill of Rights and will suggest what citizens can do to help. There will be a 20 minute Q&A after the discussion.
Whitehead is a constitutional attorney and President of The Rutherford Institute, a civil liberties organization that provides free legal services to people whose constitutional and human rights have been threatened or violated. The free program, sponsored by Friends of the Library, will be held at Central Library, 201 East Market Street.
