Checks made out to The Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (memo: City of Charlottesville Commissioner Drive) will be accepted in the Commissioner of the Revenue’s Office.
Last year the Commissioners & Cans initiative was able to raise over 4,100lbs of food and over $2,300 in the localities of Charlottesville, Essex, Hampton, Newport News, Petersburg, Portsmouth, Williamsburg, Wise, and York County. With more Commissioners of the Revenue from around the state joining the effort, we are hopeful to do much more in 2020!
