Imagine a Day without Water Art Contest Deadline

Last day to submit artwork for the Imagine a Day without Water Art Contest!

The City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County Service Authority, and Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority are holding the 5th annual Imagine a Day without Water Art Contest.

As some of you may remember, we held this contest for the past 4 years and have had very positive success. The goal of this contest is to educate Charlottesville and Albemarle students about the importance of water, and why it is important to conserve it and keep it clean. We’d like to continue the momentum developed by the previous contests, and find more ways to continue to be engaging, fun, and informative to students. The details are very similar to previous year’s contest, and the theme of the contest has been updated to illustrate “Only Use What You Need” and why we value water. New this year, is the contest is now open to all students in Charlottesville and Albemarle County in Grades K through 12th! The contest runs from August 28th - October 23rd. Check our website for more details.

Posters must be turned in by end of business day on October 23rd to the Department of Public Works located at 305 4th Street NW. Please make sure you have an official entry form attacked to your artwork with the entire form filled out. You can find the form on our website or click here.
