Local Food, Local Places Community Workshop

EPA’s Local Food, Local Places award for food system technical assistance, will enable our local community to galvanize our collective expertise as we create solutions to advance equity in our local food economy. With support from federal and state agents, we look forward to creating affordable food markets while protecting resident-led urban agriculture as an environmental, social, and economic asset.

The Charlottesville Food Justice Network(CFJN) and the City of Charlottesville invites you to take part in the two-day workshops:

July 16th, 2019
DAY 1: Community Presentation & Dinner
Location: Jefferson School African American Heritage Center
Time: 5:30pm-8pm, Meals Provided
Who: Open to Public

July 17th, 2019
DAY 2: Local Food, Local Places Workshop
Location: Jefferson School African American Heritage Center
Time: 9am-5pm, Meals Provided
Who: Open to Public
