The City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County, and MGT Consulting Group are hosting a series of community engagement meetings to hear about your experiences with the local Criminal Justice System.
MGT has reviewed records from the City and County courts, arrest data, and information from the local jail to determine how often minorities are engaged with the local criminal justice system. The team is also analyzing the reasons for any disproportionality or disparity. These findings will be part of our final conclusions.
We need your help! These community meetings are meant to gather your first-hand experiences interacting with the criminal justice system; as ex-offenders, residents, victims, witnesses, jail staff, trial attorneys, police, or other capacities.
