CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA -- On Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from noon until 2:00pm at CitySpace, the public is invited to the rollout of the City of Charlottesville's Performance Measurement Scorecards.
The scorecards are a way for the public to see how each of the City of Charlottesville departments "measures up" in various service areas valued by citizens and residents alike. Councilors hope by creating this direction, future Councils, staff and decision-makers will have a clearer picture of the type of City that citizens wish to encourage and create.
Scorecards will be available online for several City departments, with more to roll out to the public in the near future. The community will be able to see snapshots of how the City of Charlottesville is performing in each of these areas.
The public is invited to come to the rollout event to be introduced to the scorecards and to follow-up in the future at the City's website at www.charlottesville.org/measureup
Light refreshments will be provided.
