One of the baseball fields at Quarry Park

The 9.1 acre Quarry Park is located off of Monticello Avenue/Route 20 South on Quarry Road at the southern edge of the city. One major baseball field, one minor baseball field and a t-ball field a concession stand with restrooms comprise the recreational amenities.  There is a parking lot near the restrooms, and some off-street parking is also available.  The park has views of the nearby mountains and derives its name from the road that once led to an old stone quarry. 

The Rivanna Trail, a system of foot trails in and around the City and maintained by the non-profit Rivanna Trails Foundation, runs near Quarry Park.   Quarry Park is also a stop on the Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail

Dogs must be on a leash and under control.

The Park is open 6AM to 9PM.
