In order to reduce the risks associated with the Swine Flu virus, CAT takes precautions to ensure passenger safety. 

CAT uses a hospital-grade cleansing agent on all bus interiors.  A detergent disinfectant, this cleaner controls Tuberculocidal bacteria and acts as a virucide, mildew stat, and fungicide. 

In addition, CAT employees have been provided with hand-sanitizer for all public reception, meeting room, and kitchen areas, and have been encouraged to step up all “hand hygiene” efforts to prevent possible transmission. 

While these measures cannot fully prevent the spread of flu, CAT hopes to promote good health while maintaining riders’ confidence in using public transit.
