LINK is demand response service provided by JAUNT in an area of Charlottesville without a bus route. Advance reservations are required. To schedule a trip, call JAUNT at 296-3184.
The following LINK guidelines apply:
LINK is available Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Make reservations Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Reservations should be made at least four hours in advance of travel.
Reservations for next day service should be made before 4:30 pm.
Be prepared to give the location where your trip will start and your intended destination.
Trips may be repeated as a "standing order." For example, if you are traveling to and from work on a daily basis. arrange a standing order in order to avoid making daily reservations.
Fare options and prices are the same as for CAT bus routes (see
Fares & Passes page).
Trip cancellations need to be made at least an hour in advance.
A "NO SHOW" fee of $4.00 will be charged if you do not meet LINK as scheduled. All future LINK trips will be cancelled until the fee is paid to CAT.
LINK Stops
When traveling from a neighborhood, you will be picked up from your point of origin and taken to the Downtown Transit Station at 615 East Water Street, Kmart, Fashion Square, or one of the LINK stops shown below. Vehicles make one trip per hour to pick up passengers.
