The Domestic Violence Services Coordinator is a direct service provider and is engaged daily with victims of domestic violence and stalking who access services through referrals from police, court services, social services and other allied agencies.The Domestic Violence Coordinator assists in the efficient delivery of services and access to the court process for the victims of domestic violence in both Charlottesville and Albemarle County by helping in the preparation of domestic violence cases for prosecution and by assisting victims in obtaining protective orders. The Coordinator serves as a case manager on behalf of victims in relation to their interactions with community agencies that deliver needed services such as housing, civil legal assistance, emergency services, childcare, employment, legal services, and counseling to victims of domestic violence. In addition the coordinator acts as a liaison between the agencies mentioned above and victims of domestic violence. Please feel free to call the number above if you are in need of assistance.
