From Washington, DC/Culpeper, Va.
Proceed on 29 South to the 250 East By-Pass exit. Take the 250 East By-Pass Exit and proceed to the McIntire Road exit. Turn right onto McIntire Road and proceed to the Preston Avenue intersection. Turn left onto Preston Avenue and immediately take the left-turn lane and turn left onto West High Street and head up the hill.  West High will turn into East High after passing 1st Street.  Proceed three blocks on East High Street and the Charlottesville Circuit Courthouse will be the second building on your left.

From Lynchburg/Danville, Va.
Proceed on 29 North which merges with the 250 East Bypass. Stay on the 250 East Bypass to the McIntire Road exit. Continue with the same directions as above from McIntire Road.

From Waynesboro/Staunton, Va.
Proceed on 64 East to the 29 North/250 East Bypass exit. Stay on 250 East Bypass to the McIntire Road exit. Continue with the same directions as above from McIntire Road.

From Richmond, Va.
Take 64 West to the 1st Charlottesville/Shadwell exit. Take a right onto the Route 250 West Bypass and proceed west to the Park Street Exit. Take a left onto Park Street and continue until Park intersects with East High Street.  Take a right onto East High Street and the Charlottesville Circuit Courthouse will be in the next block on your right. 

      Extremely limited public parking is available at one-hour spaces located behind the Courthouse building and are accessed from 4th Street N.E.  There is also limited two-hour public on-street parking across from and near the courthouse. We recommend those needing longer term parking to use the Public Parking Garage located in the 500 block of Market Street which is just four (4) blocks away from the Courthouse. Handicapped parking is available in the front of the Courthouse building while there are two designated spaces in the public section of the parking lot located behind the Courthouse and accessed from 4th Street N.E.
