Bus Lines Poetry Contest
Feeling creative? Local authors are encouraged to submit up to three literary works for our current poetry contest. Winners will have their poems installed inside our buses as well as an opportunity to share their work at the 2018 Virginia Festival of the Book. For more information, click here.
Transportation Development Plan (TDP)
Conducted by Foursquare ITP, the TDP is a nine month study that occurs every six years. The plan lays the groundwork for future policy decisions and potential service adjustments. To learn more, click here.
Football fans can now ride Route 7 free of charge during home games. Passengers who have a current UVA game day ticket can ride for free three hours before kickoff and up to two hours post game. To ride, passengers must show the driver their ticket. Free rides are only eligible on Route 7.

11/24/2017 - Free Trolley - Due to UVA's home football game on Friday, November 24, CAT will not serve bus stops along Maury Ave, Alderman Rd, McCormick Rd, and portions of Jefferson Park Ave from 5 PM until 2 hours after the game. Instead, the route will travel up Emmet Street to University Avenue. In addition, the route will run until 1 AM. For a map of the detour, click here.
