Will there be food at the event?

Yes. A few local vendors and participating Central Place businesses will have holiday snacks and beverages for sale during the event. The Paramount Theater will be selling concessions and will provide free popcorn throughout the evening.

Where can I park?

Market Street and Water Street Parking garages will be available for parking along with curbside parking around downtown.

How early should I arrive?

The earlier the better if you like to move around and want to enjoy some of the festivities without a crowd. It will get more and more crowded the closer we get to tree lighting time.

Should I bring a stroller?

Early on you won't have issues with a stroller, but as we get closer to tree lighting time you'll find that navigating a stroller through the crowd could be difficult. Be prepared to park the stroller and hold baby or have a Bjorn handy.

What if it rains?
The show will go on! If weather is a factor we will move the holiday concert into the Paramount Theater and then enjoy a live stream of the Grand Illumination... while staying dry!
