Senior Center, Inc.
It’s Happening at the Senior Center, a multi-purpose membership organization for active adults age 50 and better! Currently offering over 100 programs and special events including educational workshops, fitness, socials, group and individual travel, plus volunteer opportunities, you’re sure to find something to challenge and enrich your active lifestyle! Senior Citizen Monthly Potluck Luncheon
One Friday each month a potluck lunch is held at the Senior Center from 12 - 1:30pm sponsored by Charlottesville Recreation and the Senior Center. For details and to RSVP call 970-3261. Limited transportation provided for City residents to events.

JABA’s Mary Williams Community Center 
The center is open for meals, activities, field trips, classes, and socializing. The center operates Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM with a hot meal served for lunch on the days the center is open. In addition, home delivered meals and food bags are distributed out of the community center to elders in the area. JABA’s Mary Williams Community Center is staffed with a nurse, a center manager, an activity assistant, and a geriatric case manager is available to visit as needed. The center is located at 1512 E Market St in Charlottesville and the phone number is 434-817-9424.

JABA’s Adult Care Center 
JABA offers a fun, caring, and safe environment for any adult who needs assistance with daily health or personal care activities. Guided by the specific needs of a personalized care plan, the certified staff in a fully licensed facility enables your loved one to remain at home longer. On-site Physician Services * Rehabilitation Services * Therapeutic Bath * Beauty Salon  The Adult Care Center facility is located at 674 Hillsdale Dr. in Charlottesville and the hours of operation are M-F 7 -5:30 & Sat 9 –3. Alzheimer's Association Charlottesville Piedmont Chapter - 973-6122
The first place to turn to for information about Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. Call or visit the office at 490 Westfield Rd. for referral to support groups, programs, Speaker’s Bureau, respite assistance or just to talk about your concerns. All services are free.
