Electronics and Technology Recycling

Best Buy now has a year round electronic waste collection and disposal service.  The service is free for many items; some items are accepted for a $10 charge, but you receive a $10 Best Buy gift card in return.  All of Best Buy's US stores are now participating - click here for more information. 

Staples also accepts used computers, laptops, desktop printers, monitors, faxes, and all-in-ones at all their US stores year round.  A fee of $10 per item is charged for this equipment.  Ink and toner cartridges, cell phones and rechargeable batteries, and small computer peripherals such as mice, keyboards, and speakers are all accepted at no charge.
