On Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2012, Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will offer free service on all CAT buses. The Fare-FREE Day is designed to provide reliable transportation to the polls for all residents.
As a higher than expected voter turnout is expected this Election Day, parking challenges may develop. Residents are encouraged to take free public transportation.
Daytime routes operate Monday through Saturday from 6:15 AM until 6:45 PM, with night service until 11:45 PM on selected routes.
