We are pleased to announce the inaugural Charlottesville Community Career Conference, which will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville. This conference will take the place of our regularly occurring Charlottesville Community Fall Job Fair, but the Job Fair will return in spring 2013!

We are offering this conference as part of our continued effort to connect area employers and qualified job seekers. In a larger group setting, employers will be able to present information about their company to job seekers who are truly interested in learning how they can become part of their team.

Employers will answer the following questions…
-What is the organization's history and culture?
-What qualities, knowledge, skills, and abilities are you looking for in potential employees?
-What positions do you currently have open and what are future opportunities?
-What should job seekers take into consideration before even applying with the company?
-Where can job seekers get the training/education needed to get a job with the company?

The Conference's primary goal is to help career-minded individuals learn about employment opportunities in our community, so we hope that you will join us!
