CAT Route Twenty-Three goes to Piedmont Virginia Community College from the Downtown Transit Station at 615 East Water Street via Monticello Avenue. Departing the Downtown Station at 615 East Water Street at forty-five minutes past each hour, the bus goes west on Water Street and turns left onto Ridge Street, right onto Monticello Avenue, left onto Second Street, right onto Garrett Street, and right onto Avon Street. It turns left on Montrose Avenue, left on Rialto Street, and right on Monticello Avenue to go to Piedmont Virginia Community College. The bus returns downtown Monticello Avenue, Rialto Street, Montrose Avenue, and Avon Street to turn right onto Market Street, right on Tenth Street, and right on Water Street, proceeding to the Downtown Station. At the Station, this route becomes Route Twenty-Four for the next half-hour. Route Twenty-Three operates Monday through Saturday.
