CAT Route Nine runs from the Downtown Transit Station at 615 East Water Street to the Corner at the University of Virginia and Charlottesville High School. It departs the Downtown Station, turns right on Ridge/McIntire, left on Preston Avenue, left on Tenth Street, and right on West Main Street to the University of Virginia Corner. It then turns right on Fourteenth Street, right on Grady Avenue, and left on Rose Hill Drive past the Health Department and Greenleaf Park before turning left onto Delmar Drive to Walker Upper Elementary School, then crossing Dairy Road Bridge to Grove Road, stopping at the Martin Luther King Performing Arts Center at the rear of Charlottesville High School. It then returns on Grove Road and Dairy Road to continue south on Wellford Street, turning left on Rugby Avenue, right on Rose Hill Drive, right on Preston Avenue and left on Grady Avenue before turning left onto Fourteenth Street and returning to the University of Virginia Corner. It then continues left on West Main Street, left on Tenth Street, right on Page Street, left on Ninth Street, and right on Preston Avenue to return to the Downtown Station, continuing on Preston Avenue and Market Street, then turning right on Tenth Street and right on Water Street. Route Nine operates Monday through Saturday.
