CAT Route Seven departs from the Downtown Transit Station at 615 East Water Street and proceeds west along West Main Street. Route Seven then passes by the University of Virginia Corner and Rotunda, turns right onto Emmet Street and stops inside Barracks Road Shopping Center at McDonald’s and CVS. From Barracks Road Shopping Center, Route Seven proceeds north on Route 29, stopping at Kroger, K-Mart and Seminole Square Shopping Center. It turns right onto Greenbrier Drive and goes past the Senior Center, then left onto Hillsdale Drive to proceed to Fashion Square, where the bus turns around and heads south back to downtown Charlottesville.  Connections to CAT Route Five may be made at Fashion Square Mall.  Route Seven does not go into Seminole Square Shopping Center or K-Mart as it returns downtown.  It does stop at the Barracks Road Shopping Center at CVS and Kinko’s before returning to the Downtown Station on Emmet Street, West Main Street, Ridge/McIntire, Market Street, Tenth Street, and Water Street.  Route Seven operates seven days a week.  There is no Sunday night bus service.
