$100 Water Heater Rebate Charlottesville Gas offers a $100 rebate when you switch from a propane or electric water heater to an energy saving natural gas water heater.

Thermostat Rebate Offer A rebate of up to $100 can be used to cover the cost of the thermostat or the expense of installing it. You may choose to have your rebate amount credited to your utility account or mailed to you in the form of a check. Only one rebate per utility account.

To qualify for these rebates, you must:

• Be the home/rental property owner.
• Be a City of Charlottesville gas customer in good standing, and who does not presently heat water with natural gas.

To apply for these rebates:

• print and return the Rebate Form,
• or call (434) 970-3812 and ask us to send one to you,
• or pick up a certificate at the Utility Billing counter in City Hall.

*Rebates are available for residential and commercial properties.
