Membership: 9 members (3 appointed by the City, 3 appointed by Albemarle County, 2 appointed by the University of Virginia, and the Chair to be jointly appointed by the City and County)

Term: 2 years

Purpose: Advise the Board of Directors of the Rivanna Solid Waste Authority on all matters pertaining to solid waste disposal and use, including recycling, energy generation and other alternative uses.
