Meetings: 1st Wednesday of every other month (September - May) at 4:00 p.m.

Membership: 13 members (4 each from Charlottesville and Albemarle, 1 each from Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, and Nelson Counties)

Term: 4 years

Purpose: The Board functions as an advisory board to the college president and the State Board for Community Colleges. In general, it is responsible for assuring that the community college is responsive to the needs existing within its service region within the statewide policies, procedures, and regulations of the State Board for Community Colleges.
