To order GIS Data (available in AutoCAD v. 2007 only), please refer to the list below, then send an email to
GISData@charlottesville.org. In the email please list the data needed and the intended use of the data. Also, please include a statement agreeing not to redistribute the data. To receive the data, we will require a check made out to, "City of Charlottesville", delivered to the Information Technology Department. Once a check is received, you will be contacted to download the data from our ftp server. The IT Department mailing address and location are below.
If you are working on a project for the City of Charlottesville and require GIS data to help with that project, please have someone in the City department for which you are doing the work request the data. You will not be charged for the data in this instance. In the request email please include the intended use of the data along with a statement agreeing not to redistribute the data.
