The Charlottesville Community is Invited to Enjoy "Ice Cream with a Cop"!

ice cream with a copCHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Charlottesville Police Department along with the Charlottesville Police Foundation are inviting all ages to enjoy "Ice Cream with a Cop", a free community outreach event that takes place at various City parks and neighborhoods throughout the next few weeks of summer.

Come enjoy a tasty frozen treat from Kona Ice while engaging in good conversation and building positive relationships with your local law enforcement.

Establishing, building and maintaining community relationships is the foundation that the Charlottesville Police Department is striving for every day. It is our hope that these events will help our department continue these efforts with those who live and visit in the community we serve. Please come out and join us as we continue to create this connection. 

 

"Ice Cream with a Cop" is scheduled from 11 am to 1 pm over the next few weeks at the following locations:

  • 6/16/18 - Washington Park
  • 6/30/18 - West Haven Community
  • 7/07/18 - Carlton Mobile Home Park
  • 7/14/18 - Friendship Court
  • 7/21/18 - 900 1st Street South
