City Offices Closed Observing Christmas

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City Hall will be closed on Monday, December 25 and Tuesday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday.   

There will be no Charlottesville Area Transportation (CAT) service on Christmas Day (Monday, December 25). Service will return to normal on Tuesday.

Curbside trash and recycling will not be collected Monday, December 25. Collection will be delayed by one day for the rest of the week.  Friday collection will take place Saturday.

City offices will reopen Wednesday, December 27.
