City Offices Closed for Thanksgiving

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - Charlottesville City offices will close Wednesday, November 22 at 1:00 pm and remain closed on Thursday, November 23 and Friday, November 24 for Thanksgiving.  
 
On Thursday, Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) will operate on a Sunday schedule.  Service will return to normal on Friday.
   
Curbside trash and recycling will not be collected Thursday, November 24.  For the remainder of the week, each scheduled collection day will be delayed by one day. (Thursday collection will take place Friday, Friday collection will take place Saturday.)  
 
Both CAT and refuse collection service will be normal on Wednesday.
 
City offices will reopen Monday, November 27, 2017.
